This policy explains what information the Tennis AI app ("Tennis AI", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, or the identifier provided when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Profile and onboarding answers: date of birth, sex, height, weight, how often you play, your goals, whether you have a coach, how you heard about us, other apps you have used, and any referral code you enter.
- Swing analysis data: still frames taken from videos you record or upload, the body-position data detected in those frames, and the scores, feedback and drills generated from them.
- Usage and advertising data: events such as registration, starting a trial and subscribing, used to measure our advertising.
- Purchase status: whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled by Apple; we never receive your card details.
How your videos are handled
Your videos stay on your device. Tennis AI selects a small number of still frames from a video and detects body position on your device. Only those frames are sent for analysis. Annotated frames from each session are stored with your account so you can review past sessions.
How we use your information
- To analyse your technique and generate scores, feedback and practice plans
- To personalise analysis using your profile (for example your goals and playing frequency)
- To save your sessions, progress and streaks
- To manage your subscription and access
- To send practice reminders, if you turn them on
- To measure how our advertising performs
Who we share information with
- Supabase — hosts our database, account system and stored frames.
- Anthropic — the frames you submit, together with your sex, playing frequency, goal, height and weight, are sent to Anthropic's AI model to produce your analysis.
- Meta and TikTok — app events such as registration, trial start and purchase are shared through their software development kits so we can measure advertising.
- Apple — processes subscriptions and, if you choose, Sign in with Apple.
- Google — if you choose to sign in with Google.
We do not sell your personal information.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete Account. This removes your account and associated personal data from our systems.
Children
Tennis AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
